When handling the wool fedora make sure your hands are completely clean. You want to handle with care at all times.
Always pick up the wool fedora by the front and back of the brim to avoid destroying the shape of the crown.

Here are some ways to clean wool fedora hat.
- Use a bowl with cold water — do not use hot water because it will destroy the hat.
- Pour a small amount of mild, non-bleach laundry detergent most preferably Woolite until it's dissolved.
- Don’t put the complete hat into the water. Please do a spot test first by soaking a small, unnoticeable part for a few minutes.
- If the color of the fabric doesn't seem damaged or change then please proceed with putting the entire hat into the water.
- Gently brush away any stains with a soft-bristled brush such as felt hat brush and have it set for at least 15 minutes before hand washing.
- Typically, a 30-minute soak , but feel free to soak it for a few hours if needed. Check on it every hour.
- Remove hat and rinse in cold water to remove any leftover detergent. To remove excess water gently squeeze the hat.
- Sit the hat on a clean towel and pat. Do not wring or twist the hat, it will destroy the shape.
- Do not place in direct sunlight
- Let it air dry.
